Most recognisable as the timepiece worn by James Bond, the Seamaster is the oldest model in OMEGA�s current collection. When it was launched in 1948 to celebrate OMEGA�s 100th anniversary, OMEGA was already well-known for its robust divers� watches. But the Seamaster took this reputation to the next level. Looking to submarines used in WWII for inspiration, OMEGA implemented an O-ring rubber gasket to improve its water resistance in depths of up to 60 meters and temperatures between -40�C and 50�C.
